“Super Mario Galaxy” released, critics can’t get their hands off it.

Super Mario Galaxy has been a game that has gone through shadow after shadow. First intended to be a launch title or similar (not unlike Super Smash Bros: Brawl), Super Mario Galaxy has had a surprisingly small amount of info in previous times. While the game was talked about much during early stages, news about it was so uncommon, some regularly forgot it existed.
But that’s in the past, because now the game is coming out in less than a week, and it’s gonna sell faster than hot cakes! Almost every person who’s reviewed it has given it a 9, and if it’s not a 9, it’s a 9.5, or a 10! This game is the Mario game most people have been waiting for since Super Mario Sunshine (or for those disapointed in Sunshine, Super Mario 64), and it’s doing quite well!
Reviewers are praising the game for it’s graphics, sound effects, music, difficulty, and overall appeal, with Gamespot’s Alex Navarro (Easily a favorite Gamespot editor, making some of the funniest reviews ever) saying, to quote:
“Here is the game that Wii owners have been pining for, a game that has tons of appeal for both the unexperienced player and longtime gamer.”
He couldn’t have said it better, for that is the Wii’s appeal, to cater to all audiences, and bring new gamers in. But that doesn’t stop it from also having the best graphics on the Wii (supposedly, Metroid Prime 3 has also been given that merit), some of the best gameplay of a platform game in ages, and some excellent music! Here are some review scores:
Official Nintendo UK Magazine gives it a 97/100
Game Informer gives it a 9.8/10
Gamepro gives it a 5/5
1up gives it a 9.5/10
These and other scores have led Game Rankings to give the game a 97% review average, or as some might say, “REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD”!
Also, this was made by “The Illusion”, and, in breaking my policy of trying to blog in 3rd person to make it seem more professional (please at least laugh), I’d like to note that I’m going to turn this blog into a much more active news blog, I hope to try to post at least once every two days, maybe sometimes every day!
See you around,
The Illusion
