Jack Thompson: “…I am most assuredly really gay.”

Hey look! Gamers can take things out of context too! In his latest shenanigans, everyone’s favorite lawyer is trying to defend his rather odd decision to include gay pornography to a court filing against a rival lawyer who runs a gay advocacy site, because apparently running that site somehow entails distributing gay porn. It’s worth noting that none of the images submitted by Thompson actually came from the site in question, so indeed, Thompson did a little googling of his own to find some hardcore horny man-banging to show the judge. It makes just as much sense to us as it does to the court, seeing that Thompson will likely lose his license once and for all over the whole ordeal.
In trying to defend himself, Thompson throws out a plug for his book (which recently hit #202,264 on Amazon’s top selling book list), an appeal for the well-being of his son (because nothing protects him better than a father who looks up gay porn on the internet to propel himself into a national spotlight), and a complaint about someone pranking him with a “coming out” kit:
I received a packet at my home, through the mail yesterday, from a gay sex advocacy organization on how to “come out of the closet.†Maybe it was sent by a minion for the aforementioned lawyer himself, as he has threatened me with being “outed†as I am most assuredly really gay. Wouldn’t my wife like to know, he suggests. I have complained to The Bar about this threat. Not interested, says The Bar, because this man is “an untouchable.â€
He complains to The Florida Bar, whom he is currently suing in another case and sending gay porn to, and expects help? Man, Capcom couldn’t even make up stuff this entertaining in the Phoenix Wright games.
How is this relevant to gaming? I suppose you could say that Thompson’s new dilemma is also because of a “man hunt.”
