Star Wars Lightsaber game for Wii, maybe?

This would be one heck of an awesome game if it was made. According to Gamasutra, during an interview with Jim Ward, the President of LucasArts and Senior VP of LucasFilm, he was asked about the possibility of a Wii Lightsaber game, and he said that the possibilities are already being tested: “We’re all over that, and internally we have already played a lightsaber game on the Wii. It’s a lot of fun, and we’ll get there.”

Gamasutra did bring up a point later in their post. This ‘testing’ of ideas might be for the Lego Star Wars game to come out soon. However, it’s probably safe to say that we should expect a Lightsaber exclusive some time down the line. Personally, I can’t wait. I hope it has online too, because I would just love to sign on and pwn all your faces off. Maybe chop off your hands or something? That would be awesome.
